Animations that Address Issues

I first tried to look for something simalar to what i am planning to do. The only videos i could find were very clinical. They showed a lot of detail about endometriosis and theres no soft approach to it.

I instead tried to look for other instances where it was difficult to talk about the subject but an animation was created to help shed light on the issue. Recently, campaigns to raise awareness of mental health issues has been on the rise.

We All Have Mental Health 2018 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxIDKZHW3-E&t=33s

The animation tells a story of a school girl feeling stressed and how she approaches her mother about it. It then goes on to talk about a boy who had great difficulty overcoming his feelings and had problems talking to people about it. The animation itself is quite simple in style and often uses visual symbolism to illustrate what is being narrated. It is about 5 minutes long and tells both stories in an effective amount of time. The target audience is for high school pupils as these are simalar to who is featured in the animation.

A Student with Mental Illness 2016 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eitRd2Zlvz0

This shares a simalar topic with the previous animation. This one seems to focus on stress from working too much at a higher level and it effecting their studies. Again, a very simalar animation style. Quite simple and illustrative. This one is a bit longer at 6:26 but its primary focus is to tell more of a story.

Lucy & Toby - educational animation movie about blindness 2012 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFTrb3ECVrw

This animation talks about blindness and shows a young girl explaining her friends blindness. She mentions why he does things differently and how he manages to get around and still do things all the other children do. I found this to be an interesting example as its a very innocent explaination of something quite complicated.
